(More customer reviews)My 2.5 year old son received a Little Giraffe blanky from his aunt when he was born. The blanky quickly became something he refused to sleep without. My son is not allowed to use the blanky outside of his bed, so the wear is minimal and washing is infrequent. Despite this the first blanky started coming apart very quickly. We had to stitch around the satin border to keep it from falling apart. By the time we realized the quality was not great my son had already developed an extreme attachment to this particular blanky (he absolutely knows the difference). Not wanting to risk a fight, we quickly purchased a second identical blanky to put into the rotation to hopefully extend the life. The second blanky had the exact same issues. I e-mailed customer service at Little Giraffe and never received a response. When my daughter was born a year ago she also received a Little Giraffe blanky as a gift. It was a different style (velvet with a ruffle trim), so I thought maybe it would hold up better. Wrong! She's only really been using it for the last two months (and only while sleeping) and already the velvet is running and a hole is forming. So buyer beware! The items look great, but I've three of the same product literally start to fall apart after only a couple months of gentle wear. And customer service doesn't appear to stand behind their products.
