They are very durable, as much as they can be with a two-year-old carrying it everywhere. It truly has a soothing effect, and I highly reccomend it to anyone whose child needs a new or replacement blanket. I have purchased 5 of them over the last 5 years, due to lost, and a few tattered ones.
