(More customer reviews)I got this to be a light layer to use on top of the sheets in the summer. I live in a cooler area, where the summers have cool evenings. It does its job well.
Also, I got the twin size, because my partner is always hot and doesn't want a blanket. This way, I only put the blanket on one side of our queen bed. A twin blanket is more than half a queen, so it hangs down a lot on the sides, but that doesn't bother me.
I should also mention the loose weave on the blanket. Because of the looseness, it has a fair amount of stretch, so after a few uses, it needs to go back in the dryer to shrink it up a bit.
