(More customer reviews)I was scared to buy the blanket at first since there wasn't any reviews yet, I weighed a lot of different options and one being sunbeam with all the comments pointing towards it shedding, and I'm not about to deal with a blanket that sheds. The other options sounded great but the cords within the blanket so thin and unnoticeable that a quick jerk of the blanket would snap those fragile cords, I wasn't about to waste my money. So I checked out every other comment I could find on THIS blanket, nothing bad but I didn't find much. So as fist hand experience: imagine, it's snowing outside, I want to test this blanket, so I turn off the heat to my side of the house {layer the bed, Sheet, Electric blanket, then comforter} turn the blanket on 5 (out of 10 settings) got under and waited, about a minute or less I felt COMFORTABLY warm! Wow, so I left it on 5 and went to sleep, waking up in the middle of the night I had to turn it down to 3 because I actually got too warm, and imagine three windows in my room, snow outside, temperature in the low teens, and here I am snug as a bug. The blanket has impressed me. At the point I'm kind of timid to turn it up to 10 (high) since even low temps are so warm. I'll have to update later. The fabric is just like a Snuggie or microplush blanket, very very soft but the way I have it set up I hardly ever get to touch it ' the only thing I would change is that I think there is just too much extra cord its probably more than 7 feet of cord. But it's a great purchase.
The wires are evenly distributed throughout the blanket but they don't reach the edges, shy of the edge about 9 inches (if the blanket was laid on a bed the size it was made for it wouldn't be an issue, but I have a Full on a King and it covers *almost* the whole surface (lacking about a foot)
