The cotton organic throw sold by Dream Soft Bedware should be purchased with caution. The first time I washed it to remove its stiffness, following their instructions, the throw unraveled multiple rows (skeins) of threading, even though it is advertised as "hemmed". CAVEAT EMPTOR. The product, once washed, felt great and is the perfect size (i.e., the perfect throw for me). It is the product's disintegration that drives the poor rating.
HOWEVER, their customer service is excellent. They issued me a return label and full credit for my purchase. The manufacturer says the unraveling is a fluke, but I do not want to take the chance that the other two throws I purchased would also unravel.

(More customer reviews)I have owned this blanket for less than a month so I cannot make any judgment about its longterm durability, but the first (and only) time it was washed it shed like a buffalo in springtime, and the dye used on the "moss" green was not colorfast in warm water and detergent. I gave it two stars because it is reasonably warm, and has an attractive weave.

Peacock Alley All Season Throw Blanket Natural Review

(More customer reviews)It almost seems like a misnomer to call this a throw as it seems much larger than most throws. It is great for covering the whole body while taking a snooze on the sofa, but may be a little big if you just want a little something to throw over your knees.
It is quite hefty and definitely very high quality. It can be tossed into the washer and dryer, and comes out beautifully soft and fluffy.
The only downside is the high price tag, but sometimes they can be found on ebay for quite a bit less.

American Baby Company Organic Cotton Interlock Crib Sheet - Natural Review

(More customer reviews)For several months now I have been using the conventional cotton interlock sheet by ABC in my daughter's crib and have been very pleased. I upgraded to this organic sheet last week. They are SUPER soft and stretchy and actually run a little large right out of the package. The standard size mattress we have measures 28 x 52 x 5. After washing them according to the manufacturer's care instructions before use, I found that they REALLY shrank up! I washed them in cold and dried them on the coolest setting available on my dryer (permanent press cycle.) The length from one end of the crib to the other was most affected. I will definitely use them, but it's going to be a bit of a wrestling match each time I change her sheets! Go ahead and buy these sheets but be VERY careful how you care for them.

I like that fact that this blanket is environmentally friendly, hypo allergenic and wil not shred or tear. I never new you could make a 100% recycled polyster fabric from recycled bottles. I think that's great. I highly recommend this blanket.

The blanket is actually quite large for the size (full/queen) that I ordered, but the opposite is usually true with other brands. The blanket washes beautifully. It is a perfect weight for a summer blanket. The weave is tight, so the possiblity of snagging is limited. I am very satisfied with this blanket, and feel the product was worth the price.

(More customer reviews)I have a couple of other blankets that my son uses, but this one might be my favorite. It's warm enough for spring and fall, but not too hot for summer. It's 100% organic cotton, so I don't have to worry about what's in the material, which is amazing. One side is a criss cross pattern with big leaves and the other is a warmer side that feels almost like a light flannel. My son loves to rub it on his face when he goes to bed, and it's super soft, so it's not irritating. It's larger as far as baby blankets go, which means my son will be able to use it for years to come as well! A cute design for eco-conscious parents!

(More customer reviews)The blanket we received is not an organic cotton blanket. The tag reads "WestPoint Home, Inc." and "100% cotton." No where does it indicate that this blanket is organic cotton or certified organic cotton. It also has a suspicious smell, which definately makes it seem like it is not organic cotton. This very same WestPoint Home Inc. blanket is available at Amazon for $10.00 less.
Either Amazon made a shipping error or this is an organic cotton hoax. If you really want a true 'organic' cotton blanket, proceed with caution.
