(More customer reviews)This is a nice blanket. It is soft enough to be used on a bed or chair or as a throw on your sofa. The "Adobe Dreams" artwork on the blanket is nice looking enough for you to use the blanket as a wall tapestry.
I purchased this blanket with the intent to hang it in a Southwestern style room. It is a blanket, not a lined tapestry so please keep that in mind. If you plan to hang it on a wall, there is no pocket or loops for a rod and you would need a hanger. I am planning on hanging it with a nice Southwestern style wooden tapestry hanger.
The blanket is true to size, measuring approximately 70" long by 53" inches wide, counting the fringes. It is average weight, and should provide warmth if used as a blanket, or be easy to hang since it is not too heavy.
The design on the actual Jacquard woven blanket, while pretty, will be much more muted in color. None of the colors will be anywhere as bright as in the stock photo used wherever this product is sold. The stock photo appears to be an artist's rendering or other reproduction.
Also, the fringes are mixed in color, which I found disappointing about the product. The fringes at each shorter end are a mixture of some of the colors in the woven fibers. But the fringe on the long sides is black and white. It doesn't particularly go that well. In the advertisements the top and bottom fringe appears gray or pale blue.
I have included a photo of the blanket in Customer Images to try to capture the actual coloring.
It is still very nice though, you just need to make sure you are OK with the more muted coloring and the fringes.
