The sheets seemed very thin and polyester-ish, but I decided to wash them and give them a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised. They are very soft and comfortable to sleep in, not to mention warm. Especially for the price (I got them during a Friday sale), they are totally worth it. (and the plum color is very nice)
