My husband and I picked it out in the store by ducking our heads underneath every model to see which looked best from the baby's perspective. Too many mobiles face out, not down. I don't care if it's cute for adults, I want the baby to be able to see the faces! The flowers and butterflies face down at an angle - perfect. This one has great high-contrast patterns for the baby to look at. It spins and plays music well. I had absolutely no trouble attaching it to our crib's side rail, even though the crib rail slopes (Delta Venetian Sleigh Crib). Make sure you're attaching each mobile part to the correct side of the railing - once I figured that out from the diagram, it was easy to put together. I put small pieces of scrap flannel in between the mobile and the crib to protect the wood. It's really secure and the wood is undamaged. I'm thrilled!
