(More customer reviews)The aden + anais swaddling blankets are by far the best swaddling blankets for warm weather. They are huge and square - 44" x 44" - which makes swaddling easy and prevents baby from being able to wiggle out of the swaddle. They are a great, breathable, light-weight fabric which makes them perfect for summer babies. We even continued to use ours into the winter. We would first swaddle our son in one of these swaddling blankets and then wrap a heavier blanket around it. I've used these blankets for everything - swaddling, as a nursing cover, to wipe up throw up, as a sun shade, everything! They are so versatile.
As for the durability of these blankets, my son is approaching 5 months and the blankets still mostly look brand new. The first time I washed them in my front load washer, I did have one get too close to the door and the friction ripped a hole through the blanket. Since then, I just learned to make sure they are near the back of the washer and I haven't had any other problems.
And on top of all of that, the blankets are adorable! There are a ton of different styles, some with prints and some that are solid white. I get compliments on mine all the time. I can't recommend them enough!
