(More customer reviews)My husband and I saw this video at a childbirth class and now I'm going to buy it for a couple of friends of mine who are expecting. Now that we have our newborn (who's only 2 weeks old) we've tried these techniques and all I have to say is "WOW!" It's definitely helped us with calming our son during some pretty tough times. I can't say that it works for us 100% of the time since we're still getting used to things, but it has definitely helped. My mom, who never used any of these techniques, was amazed at how easy it was to learn and how quickly you can watch a baby go from screaming to quiet and content. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who has a newborn.

This amazing DVD teaches any dad or mom how to flip on their baby's "calming reflex" and soothe the "fussies" as almost easily as turning off a light...and quickly add 1-3 hours more sleep! No wonder this is the most popular parenting DVD in history.Magic, miracle, no it's a reflex. Dr. Karp's discoveries about babies means most parents can soothe even colicky babies in minutes...or less...AND boost sleep 1-3 hours/night.Most parents (especially dads) say it's easier to learn this amazing approach by watching than by reading. The Happiest Baby DVD is the most watched parenting video in history! Watch as Dr. Karp shows a treasure sought by parents for centuries... the "calming reflex" (an automatic "off-switch" for crying and "on-switch" for sleep all babies are born with).Learn how to easily transport any baby from screams to sleepy serenity...in minutes. (Then read The Happiest Baby book for lots more practical tips about babies!)"What every mother needs are simple tools that really work...and Harvey's do." - Michelle Pfeiffer"...the best way I know to help crying babies." - Steve Shelov, MD, editor, American Academy of Pediatrics' Caring for Your New Baby and Young Child
