(More customer reviews)This blanket is not made of wool, which appears to be an expensive and difficult to find blanket nowadays. This blanket is polyester and is quite thin---an eighth of an inch or less.
I am surprised that it keeps me warm most of the year. But it does.
My only complaint is that it is very limp---it has no stiffness at all. It likes to expose my feet to the cold nighttime air. To rectify this situation without getting out of bed, I retract my feet to the center of the blanket and give it a good kick---hoping it will expand to its full size again. But it is too limp. It's like kicking a cloud.
As far as appearance, it's a good-looking blanket.
