(More customer reviews)I received several types of swaddlers as gifts and this one works the best for my son. We made the mistake of allowing his arms out of the wraps when we came home from the hospital and now he hates his arms wrapped. This one works well for us because he can have his arms out and the design allows for easy access and re-wrapping in the night. I had some others that have a long "tail" and it is a nightmare to try to get him settled in that without drama...we haven't seen any correlation with him waking himself up at night and his arms out and he is a heck of a kicker- but I think we have a pretty good natured little guy.
I have just ordered additional sets of these- diaper "malfunctions" in the middle of the night seem to be the catalyst for waking him and then I don't have a dry one to re-wrap (you'd think Mom would get the hang of the diaper thing!).
Cons: If your baby is very small this may be a bit too big at first because of the Velcro closures- my son was 6 lbs and we probably started using when he was 7.5 lbs. If you need the arms tightly secured this wrap may not be the best if you have a boxer on your hands...
