The music is very relaxing and the day and night scenes are very cute.It has cute animals, little fish jumping from the water and also soothing water sounds besides the soft tunes. It has an up and down volume control. The colors for me are just perfect since my baby's room is decorated in a Dr. Seuss theme( My 7yr old son picked it for his little brother) so you can imagine I have lots of colors. I put my 5 month son in the crib,turn on the soother,and I am able to do some house chores.
