(More customer reviews)Perhaps I didn't read closely enough, but these have a very soft fleece backing on them. Ordinarily I'd think that was a bonus, but this "fleece" was so incredibly soft, it shreds at the lightest touch. Laundering resulted in TONS of shedding, leaving the fleece side definitely looking the worse for wear; the front jacquard side didn't hold up too well, either (started to pill up a bit on the first washing).
The label on mine said 100% bamboo, but the words "organic" or "pesticide free" weren't on the label anywhere, so I don't know if it's false advertising on this site, or poor labeling at the manufacturer...it's also made in China, so I'd guess the former.
The colors are beautiful (I got the Fern and the Mineral colors), so if you're looking for something purely decorative, buy away (only reason I gave it two stars). If you're looking for a blanket to USE, I'd keep looking.
