(More customer reviews)This Nap Sack has quickly become a favorite new snuggle bed for my pair of ferrets. Although they love ANY hammock or sack-like object, they adore beyond words THIS sack. When I first received this item, I was surprised by how unbelievably soft the material is. Durable fabric for my chewy little monsters with 4 wide solid straps & 4 heavy plastic clips for connecting to the cage. The straps are adjustable so that you can decide how high or low your hammock sack will be. The fabric color pattern is fun although the one I received was more subdued in color (white, navy and dark red) with a similar pattern. Although the item description does not warn you, be prepared to get a different color/patterned item than pictured.
This nap sack doubles as both a hammock for those ferrets who prefer to sleep on top or they can burrow into the sack pouch and be snuggly warm, surrounded by darkness for a long peaceful nap. The sack opens from the middle and the ferret (and his friends) have easy access to the entire sack with a quick easy way out. Thoughtfully designed with the ferrets comfort and play in mind.
My ferrets love new things and quickly discovered this nap sack hanging in the cage. Their play antics were beyond adorable and they quickly decided that this sack was "THE" place to take their naps, sometimes alone but often together. After a week of use, my girls alternate from playing peek-a-boo sneak attacks, to hiding their favorite toys in the sack to simply curling up in the cutest positions for a long nap. Truly an excellent purchase for us and one I would recommend to anyone looking at buying a hammock or sack. My ferrets wholeheartedly approve of this item, lol.
PROS:
* Fun pattern & color.
* Super soft fabric.
* Washable (don't forget to shake out any bedding before putting it in your washing machine)
* Wide, solid straps & plastic clips. Seems reasonably ferret chew proof even with my young chewy monsters.
* Double the fun as a hammock and sack.
* Great price for the quality and features.
CONS:
* This is NOT a strong con, more a note. You do not get to chose with color/pattern you will receive. No warning in the product description about this at the time I write this review. (hopefully Amazon will add a note about this so that others will not be disappointed) I love the one I received although it was different than pictured. Very nice colors and the pattern, though different, was very similar and fun to see hanging in the cage. Worth every penny in my opinion :o)
