(More customer reviews)This is the third product I've had from the Posh Pelts company - I give up! The first thing I ordered from them was their double-sided chinchilla throw. I love throws, because I'm always chilly, and it was the most luxurious and well-made one I'd ever owned. (Check out my five-star review on it.) I thought I'd stumbled into a really great company. So, I ordered the White Arctic throw as a gift, and exchanged it. Was very pretty, but about as soft as a wool bodkin. Well, I asked for this chinchilla for Christmas, since I loved the color in the photo. Thought with the same name as the other, it would at least be similar. Wrong. First, it's downright thin, making it feel cheap. Second, and worse, is the way it looks. I graduated from film school, and I still can't figure out how they got the picture to look so sumptuous. The throw in reality looks like the lines have been painted on, badly. I've seen cuter throws at Walmart for thirty bucks. And this is more expensive than the other one! So, I'm exchanging it for a second double-sided chinchilla throw, so its silver-tipped loveliness and warmth can grace my living room as well as my bedroom. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this overpriced dud.
