(More customer reviews)Of course it is soft! It's silk. Yes it is thin and not so much for warmth. I was looking for a blankie for my son and this is perfect. Great size for baby and not too big to carry around if he gets attached to it as a toddler. The flannel side isn't as yellow as pictured(not the same yellow as the moon and stars which is a bit disappointing but overall happy with it.)
$60-70 is too expensive for what it is though.
