(More customer reviews)Not long after I bought this blanket, I read a review complaining that the user just kept getting an error message. Since that rarely happened to me, I dismissed the review. Live and learn. I like to pre-warm the bed year-round, and this blanket worked beautifully for about eight months. The error message would pop up occasionally, but I'd just turn the unit off and back on again and all was well. Finally one night I turned it on, the E for "error" appeared on the digital screen and that was it. Nothing I did would make the blanket work. Sorry, but for $80, the electric blanket should heat up for more than eight months. The fabric is soft and comfortable, though it leaves a lot of lint. I like having a control box that sits on the nightstand out of the way. But if a heating blanket doesn't heat up, it serves no purpose.
