(More customer reviews)I had imagined a soft throw with heat eminating from it. That's sort of what I got. The material is soft and it is a throw. It also has heating coils within. It isn't a fourth as soft as the electric blanket on my bed. The wiring is stiff and doesn't soften no matter how long you heat it. A miserable excuse for a throw, it might work for someone on a cold winter night when the furnace breaks down. Not useful for much else.
