(More customer reviews)This blanket is adorable & matches our forest themed nursery. The fabric is soft and the sewing construction is good. Note that it is a very small size so you likely will not be able to wrap your baby in it so much as put him/her on it or under it. It is also quite bulky (deflated pillow-like), which I found strange.
I used it under my newborn in the crib until he got to the age that he could move around (~3 months) because it kept him warmer than the sheets. I would swaddle him and lay him on top. He would cry if I put his head on the cold sheets, but not if I laid him on this blanket. Now that he has started moving around his crib, I figure it is a hazard so I use it to cover him in his car seat on errands we run on cold days/evenings. Because of the blanket's bulk, we tuck it pretty carefully around him so it doesn't cover his face. I also sometimes keep it on the top of his rocker in his room as a decoration.
