Swaddling in general was a lifesaver for getting my babies all to sleep at the same time, but this blanket made it so much easier. We started swaddling with receiving blankets, but they did little good. We got some with velcro closures, but they weren't snug enough to do the job - to much wriggle room - the babies always came right out. When we came across this blanket, the quest was over. I used swaddling as long as I could - when they started rolling over, I just left their arms out and wrapped them from the waist down. My kids are past this stage now, but this blanket has become THE shower gift I always give because it is the one that works.
