(More customer reviews)Our now (Feb., 2011) 9 month old Airedale puppy can chew through everything. I had a dog bed in her pen, until she chewed through the cover and started on the stuffing. Old towels were next, but she pulled threads and ate them. An old cotton bath mat lasted a bit longer, but is now history. This dog blanket lasted at least a month. But, now, she has chewed the binding off in one spot, so I've put it away to be brought back when she gets a bit older. So, I would say this is not for very aggressive chewers.My other disappointment is that even the large size isn't really that big and it is thin, not the 1" thick that was listed. I'd say that, for larger dogs or puppies, even the large size is a bit small. It is, however, soft and very comfortable.
